It all begins with.. "Do you like surprises?"
Honestly.. Who doesn't?
Last thursday, Lionel asked me this question. The last time I asked him this question, I was preparing to buy us the tickets to the Lion King musical. So you know, naturally my mind wanders around thinking.. Could there be a surprise lined up for me? Lionel being Lionel, he is quite predictable most of the times. I guess I should be seeing him soon :)
Indeed, I was right! (Gloats at how smart I am at predicting his moves)
We went to catch a movie, "One Day". Pitch dark cinema.. he wrapped his arms around me and asked "Are you surprised to see me today?" Though I know of expected it, I am still happy to see him nevertheless. I acknowledged it.
Before I realise it, he slipped something into my forth finger.
"It's going to be tough without me by your side. But if we can get through this, we can overcome anything."
